Reach Out and Read

Reach Out and Read is a national nonprofit organization that gives young children a foundation for success by incorporating books into pediatric care and encouraging families to read aloud together.

Every child aged 6 months to 5 years gets a new book at their well checks as part of the program. 

Reading aloud to children every day promotes early childhood readiness, language development and fosters improved family relationships.
