Scheduling
To help provide timely service to our patients, we prefer to schedule all visits.
Please know that we make every effort to try to decrease your in office waiting time, we adjust schedules to provider's styles, we track waiting times, we track how our staff manages their time in order to see if duties need to be re-distributed to make it more effective and efficient, BUT there are 2 facts that cannot be managed:
- We are working with children, and as you must know or will soon learn, there is only one speed which children understand…… THEIR OWN! We can always guess/hope how long a specific visit should take, but each interaction is unique and we have to adapt.
- Sometimes our visits involve a sick child who needs our attention for longer than planned, and that is what they will and should get.
Well Child Visits
Did you know regular well child visits are one of the most important things you can do to keep your child healthy? Well child visits also provide you with the opportunity to discuss any questions or concerns you may have about your child’s health.
Your child should have a well child visit at the intervals listed below. We recommend that you call our office 3 months in advance to schedule an appointment with your child's primary care provider on the date that best fits your needs. You can also schedule your child’s next visit when checking out.

Sick Child Visits
We make every effort to schedule appointments for ill children on the day that you call us. If you believe your child needs to be seen and there in no availability on that day, our nurses can help you determine the course of action to take and will direct you accordingly.
Walk-Ins
To prioritize those who have scheduled appointments, walk-ins are highly discouraged. We do have same day appointments available and will ask that you return when the schedule allows.
